Privacy policy
This policy describes what data comes into existence when you open space-terminal.com and when you use the Space Terminal desktop application.
[1] In short
The site is static: no sign-up, no forms, no ad networks and no analytics. It sets no cookies and collects no personal data.
The terminal runs on your computer: settings, window layouts and API keys are stored locally on the device and are never sent to us.
[2] Data created by visiting the site
Like any website, space-terminal.com is served from a server, and the hosting provider processes the technical details of the request: IP address, date and time, browser type and the page requested. These records exist to deliver pages and to guard against abuse; we do not use them for profiling and do not tie them to an identity.
Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so opening the site makes your browser contact Google servers, which reveals the IP address of the request to them. Google handles that processing under its own rules.
[3] Downloading and updating the terminal
Builds and updates are downloaded from updates.space-terminal.com. As with any HTTP request, the download tells that server your IP address, your operating system and which build you asked for.
[4] Data inside the terminal
API keys, connection settings and workspace layouts live in the application profile on your device. The terminal connects to trading venues directly from your computer, so your keys, balances and trades never pass through our servers.
The venues you connect to process your data under their own privacy policies, which are worth reading separately.
[5] Support requests
When you write to support@space-terminal.com we process your address and the text of your message — exactly as much as it takes to answer — and keep the thread no longer than the question needs.
When you write on Telegram we see your profile and the text of your message; the conversation is stored in the messenger under Telegram rules.
[6] Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or hand over your data. The exceptions are the infrastructure providers the service cannot run without (site hosting, the update server, Google Fonts) and lawful requests from authorities.
[7] Retention and deletion
Server technical logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted. The local data of the terminal stays on your device until you remove it: deleting the application profile along with the application clears it completely.
[8] Your rights
You may ask what data about you is processed, request its correction or deletion, and object to the processing. Write to support@space-terminal.com or to us on Telegram: @space_terminal.
[9] Age limits
The product is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data about children.
[10] Changes to this policy
A new version is published on this page with an updated date. Material changes are announced in the Telegram channel.
